Cops literally break into people's homes and shoot them and get placed on leave. Plus, this is Tennessee. It's probably nothing more than a procedural formality where they're still getting full pay.And if that's the case, it's gross. They could have done better. I'm not saying they're to blame for her death, but they are to blame for treating her like trash.
