One thing Ive been thinking about is if there's a possibility id have to testify in a the trial. I have zero idea how the justice systems works outside of don't talk to police and get a lawyer so not sure how likely it'd be.

I doubt they'd need my testimony for anything but I'm glad I didn't go doing news interviews just in case.

If it ever does go to trial, you would probably be a witness for the prosecution. They would probably go through the questions they will ask you on the stand and how to answer them. They will also go through the possible questions the defense might ask you during cross-examination and how to best answer them.

But more than likely, the defendant will probably plead out and will never go to trial in exchange for a lesser sentence. But at least he will be on the sex offender registry.
