My Occulam's Razor says that Ben goes for the crazy role claims when he's forced to claim as scum :P

I remember in Yu-Gi-Oh Mafia when Hb got a guilty scan on Ben. None of us were prepared for it, and Ben was saying he couldn't be there to defend himself because of work. So what did he do? Claimed Watcher as a defense and then left.

He didn't consult us to make sure the claim looked good and didn't have contradictions (it was very contradictory and ended up sealing his fate further). I told him he could have claimed vanilla. He didn't and claimed power to seem more convincing.

Ben makes botched flavor claims all the time when his back is against the wall.

This has nothing to do with flavor meta. Frankly, I don't buy this "sealed Star Spirit powers" nonsense that Ben started.

I am looking at this as "everything Ben has claimed has very conveniently lined up to make himself appear as town, to an uncanny degree, and this reminds me more of wolf-is-cornered Ben than genuine town Ben."

The scum equity for "such a blatant look-at-me fake claim" is to get people off his back lest he gets mislynched. There is absolutely scum equity from a desperation claim if the worst that happens is that their goose gets cooked anyway.

Ben had the choice to either claim and possibly weasel his way out, or he could not claim and die.

Sigh.... Kirby Kirby kirby. And then we come to you. I have been holding back on saying this, because i didn't want to clue you into it, but I feel like you are treating me like you did in the game where you were scum. Now granted, we were BOTH scum in that game, but you came after me hard and made up bullshit reasons to go after me just to bus me further. This day, day 2, how many times now have you said I am scum for reasons that are obviously false?

You say I claim power every time I am scum? That was a rare occurrence where I did. I always preach that scum should just claim vanilla. That wasn't work when I had to claim in that game either, that was an escape room. I was just scanned by a cop in that game. Of course i didnt have time to consult with my buddies or claim vanilla. I HAD to make a desperation move.

That shouldnt have any relevance to me this game since I am town this time, but you continue make up reasons that are untrue to shade me. Just like you did when you were scum. Finally i can say there is something scum kirby does that is different from his town self!
