What makes this game different? Rowling still saw royalties with the movies but nobody called for a boycott over those. If anything, there were more people upset over Johnny Depp not returning for the third one more so than Rowling getting paid.

Not only that, Rowling actually wrote all the FB movies. She was directly involved. Yet nothing and it came out less than a year ago.

Also, nobody is really going after WB, who decided to make the game.

Regardless, the implication going forward seem to be that all Harry Potter is off limits. Trying to cancel HP is basically a delusional task.
