10% is basically "slap your mom in the face" rude
15% is " intentionally stepped on your toes" rude
Even 20% can make you seem a cheapskate

You have to tip 25% or more

The only place I go these days where tipping is expected is a local bar here in Vegas. I always tip 30% to servers/bartenders if I'm only drinking and I tip 40% if I order food too, since the servers share a percentage of their tips with the cooks. When I win money gambling at the bar, I always give 10% of my winnings back to the bartender who will split it with whoever is working.
