Based on that alone...

Fried chicken and cornbread are soul food, and a part of black culinary tradition that most black Americans should be proud of. The same is true for pretty much anything considered "southern" food.

So there is a decent chance that this was put together by actual black people trying to have their heritage represented. I would feel better if they also put collared greens on the menu though lol.

On the flip side, if they also included watermelon and grape soda, then you know they're just racist pieces of shit.

No one is denying what soul food is. It's just that leaning into stereotypes isn't the way to celebrate black culture and we all know that. Or at least, we all have been given infinite opportunities to learn it by now

If it's a school, it's basically sending the message "We won't teach about CRT, but we sure will teach stereotypes!"
