| Raetsel_Lapin 01/29/23 5:00:11 PM #11: | (Walking With Strangers comments): I didn't want to bring it up myself, but I agree with neonreaper's comment: If you folks like this album but it feels a little samey from track to track, I advise you to check out their album Violet. Imo has some obvious standouts Because while WWS is a fine album and possibly more accessible, I didn't think any of the songs really showcased the full ability of the singer. Besides the clean pop vocals heard on WWS, she can also deliver raspy & almost inhuman growled vocals--easily switching back and forth between them. That duality is my favorite part (see their song "Blue" for an example), but WWS was just so... normal. Which is fine! It's not that I disliked Walking With Strangers. But I do suggest anyone that wanted to hear more variety from the band check out Violet and give them another shot.
