I feel good about what I did and how it turned out. There's a really scummer layer of people and media business that have exposed themselves unfortunately. I keep getting calls weeks later trying to do interviews or come in and tell my "heroic" story. It feels disingenuous, it's hard to explain. It feels more like they want a ten minute movie they can play rather than caring about what happened. I get a lot of comments about how I missed out on getting a reward or I should have asked the family for compensation. These aren't people I'm close with that make the comments but it's disguting there's so many people that look at the situation as a possible paycheck.
