Ralts Line: Ralts, Kirlia, Gardevoir, and Gallade. They aren't useless, but neither are they the best. Solidly usable in terms of competitive and in-game viability. As far as designs go, was Gardevoir the first waifumon? Jynx is obviously too hideous. I guess the issue here is that we already had a humanoidish psychic line, and the Abra line completely mogs this one.

Mewtwo's Plan in Mewtwo Strikes Back: So, Mewtwo is angry that it was created and manipulated by humans for their benefit, for it decides to take all of the pokemon in the world and get revenge or something, it's really vague. It needs pokemon to do this, though, so it invites some strong trainers to visit it, battle clones of pokemon, and then confiscates their pokemon. But it's already established that Mewtwo can just mind control humans! It does exactly that in the movie! And then to compound matters, Mewtwo challenges Mew to a fight to prove its superiority, which was never its concern, and despite being genetically engineered to be the best fighter, it's only equal to Mew.
