| faramir77 01/14/23 11:06:47 AM #5: | A principal of a school I taught at as a student teacher hated me no matter what I did. My university supervisor and my teacher supervisor acknowledged that I was doing a great job, but nothing was ever enough for the principal. The students at that school thought I was great, too, and when that came up as a highlight of my performance during my final evaluation interview with him, my university supervisor, and my teacher supervisor, he dismissed it and said "that's just because you're young, it has nothing to do with you as a person or as a teacher". He was rude to other teachers so I tried not to take it personally. And then at the end of the practicum, a job posting came up that was EXACTLY what suited me. But he didn't even short list me, and instead the job was given to some guy that didn't have a math background. I later found out that guy went to the same Mormon church as the principal.
