While inflation is definitely out of control scummy people aren't stealing food from stores as much as other items that have much higher secondary market value. Stores and some people using theft to justify inflation and vice versa are incredibly dishonest. Nah let's make up stories where the downtrodden underdog family man played by paul rudd has to steal bread for his family because the evil corpos are over charging him! He had to do it! There were simply no other options, except all the ones we ignore!
