My dog died in September. It was a constant thought running through my mind that made me incredibly sad all the time. Now it's a constant thought running through my mind that mostly makes me feel numb from desensitization.

I can still feel normal in moments, but it eventually comes back. Doesn't help I did everything with my dog, so there is hardly anything I could do that doesn't make me think of him and miss him.

I won't consider getting another dog unless Im sure I won't just be trying to run from this stuff. I want to fully go through this process so that Im not just trying to replace him.
