Not that strange. 2 years between seasons is guaranteed to make hype die down, and then you add how obtuse season 2 was with the way it presented its story, and it was bound to lose a few season 1 fans. Anthony Hopkins was a huge draw so losing him didn't help either. You know I actually liked season 3 somewhat ironically minus the annoying breaking bad guy everyone seems to like.
