...seriously guys, if the song is over, you can stop. You don't have to keep playing and repeating one word to pad out the time It's cool. But it is an emotional song that I was able to connect to, so I love it anyway,)

!I'm not really connecting with the song tonight, but it sounds pretty and I like it quite a bit anyway.

[Final Thoughts: That...uhh...didn't sound like a mid-80's writeup. Sounds like the type of thing that songs in the 60 point zone are getting. Which is kinda where I feel like the song should be at the moment; It sounds very nice and I like listening to it, but I don't have a personal attachment to the lyrics and it just goes on aimlessly for so much longer than it needed to. Sorry; this song was at the absolute highest tier, but I'm not quite getting that emotional resonance that I need these days.]

[Later: Another unfortunate song that I once truly loved and has been on a rather steep downward trend since then. I still like the song, but I'm not entirely sure why I loved it and I've been unable to recapture that magic.]

(First Reaction: A heavy song--emotionally that is, it's definitely one of the lighter songs in terms of intensity--that's easy to connect with. While I can't say I've experienced anything like losing someone to dementia or not being able to say goodbye to a dying loved one, the lyrics and vocal performance make it easy to relate to the emotions and feelings anyway. Great song.)

!Tonight I'm feeling kinda opposite on things, in that I'm here entirely for the backing music--that power starting at around 1:05 is *chef's kiss* and that outro is exactly the type of thing I love. The vocal performance and lyrics are fine, but when I'm getting really drawn into the backing music, they almost get in the way of the parts I love... which is definitely not how I felt a few months ago, but somehow works out to almost the same score anyway.

[Final Thoughts: It's a nice song and it shows off a softer, more emotional side for the band. I still like it, but I'm not quite clicking with any aspect of it the way I did the first two times.]
