Topic	Worst movie to make $1 billion at the box office
_Blur_ 12/30/22 8:18:08 PM #143:	Of the ones I've seen (never seen a Transformers movie), it's The Phantom Menace by a mile. Of course recency bias is going to pinpoint Episode 9, but that's at the very least a competently shot and acted film. Episode 1 is a failure in every imaginable way, including the lowest possible bars of being so bad it's good and being a good kids film. Nope, it's just horrendous. There aren't even arguments to make of "well it might be worse but it's more interesting." Please watch those back to back. --- Feel the sadnesss of the Earth, and I close my eyes.
