| igordebraga 12/30/22 1:23:02 AM #132: | The only ones of the billion club I've never seen are the Fast & Furious ones. And went for the second most voted in this poll, The Lion King 2019. Found it unnecessary from announcement - unlike Jungle Book, which at least has a human, TLK would just trade 2D animation for photorealistic one. And indeed, it the original movie but worse. (and sadly, the good one is not a billion dollar movie, that's just a BOM mistake: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Film/Film_finance_task_force#Box_Office_Mojo) And for the question on Pirates 4 making all that money: before China, but during the 3D craze (see also: Alice). And just so I can give my Star Wars take (no need to revive the discussions): TLJ and TROS served to bring me back to my original conclusion of "the story was good enough with 6 movies", taking down all the hopes TFA gave me. --- ALL HAIL!
