There has been so much misinformation about this game. Dudes would say, "It would take millions of hours of coding to change from 30 FPS to 60 FPS, so never expect them to do it."

Just to shut them up, a modder named Lance McDonald released a fan patch two years ago that brings a legit 60 FPS to the game. Surprise: It didn't take that much effort. The only small downside was that resolution had to be lowered from 1080 to 720 for it to run on the PS4 Pro.

With real devs working on the PS5, they could probably have it running 60 FPS and 4k in no time.

The true reality of the situation of why there has been no action on Bloodborne is that Sony is a scumbag company who has extreme contempt for their customers. There's no technical or artistic reason for it.

The true reality of the situation is they want to maximize the money they can make off of denying access to an updated version and then releasing a remaster/remake at $60 again.
