I explored every ass crack the Lands Between had to offer, but I don't know that getting an Arteria Leaf to craft an item I'm never going to use really added much to Elden Ring. I know why games do it though, it's an easy way to gate progress and make secrets ostensibly rewarding even if they aren't all that amazing in reality.
