They always say that min wage will drive up prices, but never offer any solution for it anyway. They're just happy poor people are struggling. It's also why they get so happy about automation, not for safety or for convenience, but because it screws over poor people.
It does, you can easily see this by looking at price changes every time it goes up.

With that being said, I'll absolutely agree that "minimum wage increases won't fix the problem and may even make it worse, so let's just do nothing instead" isn't the right approach either. Let's look at what can either bring wages up or drive prices down in real terms (not just keep the same situation in practice but use bigger numbers).
