The argument of "We can't give them resources that will end the war because then they could attack the country literally next to them that they already have and that having more planes wouldn't change" holds 0 water.

Even the US themselves isn't claiming that, they're openly saying they're scared of pissing off Russia.

What resources would end the war? Honest question, there isn't a magic bullet to end everything.

Escalating with harder to replace and difficult to maintain jets that could be easily destroyed is just a waste of resources, not to mention that they don't have the pilots necessary for the number of jets they'd need to somehow end the war, if that's even realistic (which it isn't).

And yes, Biden doesn't want to push Putin too far. That's smart gamesmanship. We're giving him an ulcer and hoping Ukraine bleeds their energy dry and forces them to pull out in the long run. Anything that could quickly turn the table is simply put not realistically deployable or would escalate things drastically.
