The reason why Russia's planned 2 week takeover failed was because Ukraine had enough planes to maintain air superiority. The reason why Ukraine's advance is so slow is because they can't gain superiority in annexed land. So it's been 10 months of fighting over the same land back and forth as everyone dies.... Without the planes Ukraine has been asking for since day 1, they can't win and the fighting will go on forever.
