Again you're not following the story

We're not talking about F-15s

We're talking about MiG_29s and other Soviet Era planes. The ones the Ukranian Airforce know how to fly and engineer.

That's why only the US, Poland and a few other places can provide them

There isn't enough time or resources or point in giving Ukraine current State of the Art US Airforce planes and no one is suggesting doing so.

They're saying give Ukraine the old planes from the 70s and 80s that are still in comission and they can use. And the US directly is saying no because Russia is threatening to kick off if they do.

You're so confrontational about this and yet aren't actually aware of the facts.

It's not about US troops and boots on the ground and it's not about F-15s. And the issue is not that the request is unreasonable from Ukraine, the issue is that the US flat out is unwilling to do it due to fear of diplomatic relations with Russia breaking down.

If that's what you've been told then you've been had by whatever media sources you use and I'd suggest finding new outlets.
