But thiis has been happening for over 25 years now. No PC game in EXISTENCE has ever launched in a "perfect" state which is why we had entire file hosting websites dedicated to free modding whether it was for graphics editing or just fixing technical issues.

PC gamers today are just ultra spoiled and upset that games aren't developed from PC architecture like they used to anymore but this has typically always been the case anyway for PC games. We're also entering a new era of video games where all platforms are really starting to coexist with each other, therefore there's going to be growing pains along the way as developers engineer their titles in reverse now. If trash like Sonic Frontiers can be fixed by modders in a single week, then there's nothing to complain about but again it's always been this way.

btw this overemphasis on expensive graphics cards has more or less devolved the platform expectations to all time worsts on par with the console wars toxicity imo, but whatever that's just what AMD and Nvidia wants in the end.
