Fargus gets hilariously buffed on Eliwood Hard Mode specifically. They messed something up with how his stats are generated and so instead of using his intended boss stats and having hard mode bonuses added on, he treats his intended stats as if they were class bases, gets a ton of auto-levels worth of stat boosts because he's level 18 promoted, and then gets hard mode bonuses on top of that. He ends up breaking the HP cap, having capped strength and near capped everything else, it's funny. There's also an enemy that benefits from the same mistake on Hector Hard Mode, but luckily he's nowhere near as busted as Fargus (and is also optional anyway)
