Topic	Is martial arts mostly just pretend?

It was clear mma was far more effective, but the chinese government didn't like that their traditional martial art was shown to be ineffectual. They ruined the guys life. I can't say if he's the most skilled fighter of all time, but he is definitely the most badass.
