I don't know, it kind of seems better to punish hate speech than to pretend it's harmless and allow it to become a festerous cancer in the body politic that threatens to bring down the entire system. It's probably better than allowing it to escalate into genocidal state policy and violence

You cant legislate hate away, no matter how hard you try. And in trying to suppress hate speech by criminal charges, youre handing over power to the government to then determine what is considered hate speech.

The same government who lies consistently to the American public about any number of issues, to fan the flames in the direction they want.

And, of course, such state censorship and state violence have always been leveled against the left and not the right in this country.

Youre so busy identifying with a side that youre willingly going to give up rights to toe the line.

The right has attempted censorship plenty of times. Thats the point; the government, as a whole, is salivating at the opportunity to grab more control over the American people and youre here worried about left and right.

They all want to control you, while reaping the benefits of backdoor deals and astronomical profits from insider trading.

Especially when you're talking about a country where the harshest prison is probably a far sight nicer than a minimum security American prison.

Okay? Its still prison for speech. Its ridiculous.
