Topicps5/non ps5 owners: does 60 fps really make that much of a difference?

All depends on the genre for me. Its not really that big a deal for a good turn based rpg, and even more so if the turn based rpg was designed/created around 30fps in the first place. (This is basically persona 5. All the fancy UI animations, the loading screens, the battle animations, all that was made with 30fps so it still looks really good).

For action games like say from software stuff, devil may cry (luckily all of these is 60fps by default. I wouldn't mess with a 30fps devil may cry/the reason I skipped out on reboot DmC's initial 360/PS3 release) or monster hunter world? Yes, it does make a difference.

Final fantasy 7 remake's native PS5 version in performance mode feels vastly better to play in comparison to the PS4 original.
