Though at least Phantom Menace didn't have a cross promo with a random unrelated video game that had plot details in it. Kuuko posted... I groaned out loud in the theater at this exact moment and was ready to turn my brain off for the rest. We knew as fans that Palpatine would be coming back because it was in the trailers for the movie.
