It's pretty nice because you can either download the game as soon as it comes out, or even earlier if it supports preloading like Scarlet/Violet do. Then you can play it right at midnight if it releases then (which in this case, I believe it does), rather than wasting time waiting for your Gamestop to open, going to get the game, then going back home and putting the game in, only to find there's a Day 1 patch that you need to install anyway... It's especially good (by which I mean "the only practical option") if you're like me and can't drive to get to a shop that has the game.

But the Switch only has 32 GBs of storage space naturally, so if you get a lot of games, you'd better invest in a decently sized SD card. I have a 32 GB SD card in addition to the 32 GBs of system memory and I find myself deleting games to make room for new ones all the time. So I'd definitely recommend 64 GB or higher.

Ok cool, I've never bought digital for switch so I'm glad dey work ok. I also just bought an SD card, 500 something GB lol
