If a citizen is walking free, they should be allowed to vote. Period. What they did in the past is irrelevant. It's already been taken care of. That's why they're walking free.

I don't agree with that line of thinking. It doesn't have to be all or none. Like I believe someone who has done several horrible things while drunk should be banned from drinking. Doesn't need to rot in prison their whole life. A special mark on their ID that marks them as unable to purchase alcohol. It isn't foolproof but neither is having a legal drinking age.

Registered pedophiles already have limitations on where they can live so it's not like we don't already do such things.
