This is why I don't mind Trump running. If Trump disappeared, the entire party would easily get behind DeSantis. But Trump being there splits alot of their party, which is honestly good for the country if they destroy each other.

The split in the party has been there before Trump. The left as we all know LOVES John songbird McCain I am old enough to remember when they defended McCain over Obama during the Republican primaries. Im old enough to remember when the media backed everything John McCain did because he was a RINO.

Then comes Election Day. Safe Republican districts no one comes out to vote for him and Obama wins in a landslide. State that always went Republican were not even a toss up because no one came out to vote.

What Trump is most likely going to do to this election is the same thing that Teddy Roosevelt did which was split the party where for the first time in a generation a Democrat would win back to back since the Democratic Party was the party of treason but Teddy split the vote when he broke off and now we have the Federal Income Tax and other issues like foreigners being able to come here and get birthright citizenship in what most people call a anchor baby.

A lot changed during this time including the end of isolationism and demand to get more involved in things outside our borders. Also lets not forget the FED.

DeSantis though may not seem like he's of the establishment takes money from the Mercers and Wilks.

Trump when he was president did not support any of his supporters on his way out of anything he pardoned Democrat criminals and Israeli spies.

Whats going to happen this election? I have no idea as Trump left a bad taste in a lot of peoples mouths but yeah there is a divide.
