There's a gigantic lore dump in the beginning of the game so if yall haven't played the game recently I dunno how you still love the storyline when you prolly don't understand most of it now.

Kislev: Country at war with Aveh Aveh: Other country Gebler: Mercenary force from Solaris Solaris: Country that rules over the groundlings Ethos: The church, more or less. Governs the Gears and any new tech that gets discovered. Nisan: The holy city where Bart's holy priestess cousin lives. Shevat: Hidden city at war with Solaris. Cain: Fei's Id before he became Id. Can't remember his current alias.
Edit: Cain is the emperor. Completely forgot about him because of how inconsequential he was to the story.
