When you're the one who's proving the theory with your attempted control of other people's dating habits, it's obvious to neutral observers. You don't notice it because you're not looking for it. Already said before that I'm not trying to 'control' what young women and men do. It is about a need for the communities those young people are part of to be aware of possible predatory behavior. It is about watching out for patterns with regards to adults that specifically target young people. It's not a blanket assumption that all people that participate in age gap relationships are in a harmful situation, but that it is more likely to be so. It's not an assumption that all men are predators and women can't make their own choices.
