It doesn't fully sit right with me, but Frosk is stirring shit in places where she's not exactly gonna come out on top of anything. I'm pretty sure most people are actually just alright with massive age gap, even though brain wise there's like no difference between a 16 yr old to about 22 yr old. Either way, they're fucking inexperienced babies.

But when does it become sus?

When it starts out and it's more or less strictly professional and you're assisting them through life?

When it's strictly friendship with no romantic feelings?

When it starts to become romantic for one or both parties?

When it's romantic but not sexual?

When it's sexual but not romantic?

Or is it based on what one of the parties wants? Like if the 30 year targeted the 19 year old because she's 19 and he wants to power play strictly?

People apply all these qualifiers of things being weird without defining the standard of when it becomes weird.

The easier and better thing to do is judge each situation case by case. If something seems up, talk to one or both and see if you can clear up any misconceptions or let them know how they're portraying their relationship.

End of the day, it feels like people who are super anti-age gap want to remove basic tools/skills from peoples social skill set or toolset, and it comes with an (unintended) side effect of infantilizing the younger and demonizing the older without taking anything beyond two numbers and the genders into consideration
