73. Disturbing Behavior (HBO Max)

James Marsden and Katie Holmes were really in this movie early in their career and I've never heard about it, and I'm sure they probably wish nobody heard of it.

Cyclops moves to a new town where there's a club where all the kids act like weirdos. The Donut Lord then realizes there's more nefarious things going on and tries to figure it out.

It's brainwashing.

I don't care about spoiling this film since it's profoundly awful. The drama sucks, the acting sucks, the story sucks. I got so bored watching this, even with the one cool janitor character with good lines. It's outrageously nonsensical and I disliked my entire time watching this.

I mean, high school brainwashing. Okay. There's potential. But they could not pull off this script and nothing felt cohesive and it was all just such a complete mess that I have a hard time believing anyone could actually have fun with this movie. None of the characters feel interesting. Just... ugh. Waste of time watching this. It is saved from a 0 score because that janitor character is kind of cool. But aside from that, this is just a terrible Stepford Wives knock off.
