Topic	Is it possible to identify the model of Wii from this angle?

I was going to say the same thing, but I just looked up pics of the RVL-101 model (the one without GC controller ports), and while it looks as though it has the cover for the Gamecube controllers, it doesn't. So while I was also pretty confident it's an RVL-001, it very well could be the newer model. are the wires from the OG model and the newer model exactly the same? Maybe can identify it that way?
