Surely it will be defeated given enough time.They don't think that they'll be defeated like other prominent fascist groups in history. And even if they do get stopped, they will have a death toll. By all rights, we could have probably trampled out their ideology or at least severely halted the rate at which it bloomed if neolibs hadn't tolerated them openly espousing their views and if we'd managed to elect Clinton in 2016. Trump WAS the right's grieving death knell, their last ditch effort to stay relevant instead of having to maybe adjust and tone it down in modern times. But nope, the fascists won and ramped up the ideology very quickly. The fact that Trump had a scandal or said a racist thing or whatever basically every day to inundate us with so much horrible stuff to the point it made many people numb to such news? That was a great bonus for them.
