This is several million years before placental mammals evolved. So humans are more closely related to all non-egg laying mammals than alligators are to crocodiles. I was wondering why alligators aren't considered a type of crocodile, so I looked it up and learned this today. --- I am the Cheese! I am the best character on the show!
