I will say Nikke has a lot of problems, probably too many for justify paying for at all or to even keep playing at a long extent, but the gameplay is definitely better than what some people will give credit for, esp outside the tutorial. It's pretty deep and the boss designs have been great, but the roster is excessively weak thus far, with SRs outside Rapi being pretty weak, and some SSRs being really bad. Luckily, due to synching levels, you don't really need to pull SSR dupes yet. You can in fact lvl all your SSRs to lvl 160 eventually, as long as you use maxed SR units for your highest lvled units. It takes 10 gems to reset a unit's level so it's not the end of the world if you messed it up

But god that stat differential is so comically excessive. I think after experiments, people have concluded that 25% is the floor (even if you're literally 1 point away from the rec power level, your stats will drop 25%, which makes it really hard to beat any stage), and depending on further power level differences, 90% stat drop is maximum, which is honestly fucking ridiculous.

It's to the point where a lot of your victories are just based off of passing that threshold and just fielding random units.

That being said, this also means the tier list actually never really mattered. You're not beating a lot of stages under the threshold even with SS tier units, which btw I recently just pulled Ludmilla, the best tank in the game. I have the best tank and the 2nd best tank >.> and I still need to rely on Rapi for all my damage... Also another btw, the EX stages have fixed lvls and do not have a recommended power level, so they do not give the same penalties

Tier list not mattering means like you honestly should just be getting characters that you like the looks of. If that unit happened to be a Pilgrim unit, you'll be in a lot of pain, and I don't recommend you play the game
