*shrug* I figured that since I've seen this brought in multiple places it was different then normal. Only gachas I've ever spent on are ones that either don't have a separation between free and paid currency, or call them completely different things. I think the issue might be that the descriptions in the shop don't say paid vs free (or at least I assume they don't. I already uninstalled it before seeing this mentioned).

I believe it says paid in the corner in all the paid gems I've seen. Honestly, I don't really know if this game really needs it yet. I'm taking my time with it, and the story mode is fairly lengthy thus far. It's nice to have as many units, but I guess it's just too hard to achieve this F2P.

In my eyes, even generous gachas are extremely predatory. So I think because this game is a bit more hyped and popular, it's getting under bigger fire, but in reality, it's not really that different from most other gachas, monetary design wise
