For me... I don't lack confidence when I know somebody, my biggest problem is that I have trust issues. Too many times burned in the past. I've had women act all flirty, only for them to turn around when I ask them out and say they already have a boyfriend. Like... that shit really pisses me off.

Had one co-worker help stock shelves a few years ago, it was during valentines day, she looked at the chocolates and said "I wish I had someone to buy me chocolates". Obviously you know what I thought. I didn't say anything as I had been burned before, couple days later she's with her boyfriend of 2 years. I get the need for attention, but at the same time, saying that to the wrong person could end up putting you in a position you don't want to be in.
