It's fine.

I joke about and make light of my drinking problem all the time.

I've even made that joke before about how I take drinking seriously and it isn't a game.

I knew you were pretty light hearted about it but on reflection I also agree that its still not cool to post things like that because there could be other people who are struggling or whose drinking habit makes them feel ashamed and I wouldnt want to contribute to making them feel judged. Having gone through a ton of battles with addiction myself, I do need to stay mindful that its not always apparent how a person views their self in relation to that struggle.

Im grateful that were cool but Im gonna really make an effort not to post things that shame individuals who have an addiction.
