None of the other workers want to do this job - I work with some people with intellectual and physical disabilities, and even the staff members I work with without these limitations are super fucking busy with their own shit. So my job is to keep the washers and dryers running all day. Without me being there, I doubt there has been a dedicated effort to unload/reload the washers or dryers. When I'm there, that's all I do - I'm an essential link in the chain of the labor we do.
