Neither of us are in a job where we can work from home, and the rural equivalent of one of our jobs would be fairly horrible. I've actively considered a treechange, but even working remotely my job depends on a fairly high speed connection. At the moment I'm thinking our best bet will be to fully pay off the mortgage on this apartment which is almost paid off, rent it out (and in the process become one of CE's most hated types of people) and use it as additional capital when we're applying for a mortgage on an actual house. --- I was born under clouds but when the pressure gets too much for me I bite 24 hour party parrot ...
