We are missing out on that for the sake of forced diversity. Perhaps a better idea would to create another princess for their agenda. Why do you feel it's "forced diversity"? Does it bother you that they went with an actress that is 50 years younger than the original voice actress for Ursula? Plus, there was a Live action Little Mermaid in 2019 depicting Ariel with the same "iconic" look she had in the cartoon. If you so desperately need to see that look, watch that one. Also.
