I'm not hating on binging at all. I'm specifically hating on Netflix actively holding off on simulcasting shows when they're being aired in other places through other means. If the only options to watch a show are "wait 3-4 months for Netflix to drop all of the episodes at once, miss the online discussions, and risk having the show spoiled for me before I even get the chance to watch it" or "pirate it" then you can bet your ass a lot of people are going to pirate it. If the binge drop on Netflix is the first way to watch it, then I don't have nearly as much of a problem with it.
