I absolutely understand this when it's someone whose work has impacted your life and you feel a connection to them because of it... but the royals don't fuckin do anything, what is there to get attached to? Tax dodging? Inbreeding? Wealth hoarding? Representing the idea that some people deserve more than others because of their bloodline? Funding the legal defence of paedo relatives? Hell, even the Kardashians have that TV show so people can feel like they know them. I know people have been indoctrinated into this subservient attitude from birth but like... come on >_>tbf there's a whole lot of traditions involving the queen and families have grown up with her in that role for literal generations hell we Canadians have her on all our coins and the $20 bill........ oh fuck please don't put a new monarch on our money --- I request affiliated many pipes.
