He immediately started work on a new movie after The Last Jedi, which became a big success and led to him signing a massive, lucrative contract for two sequels (one of which is set to debut around Christmas), as well as a TV show for Peacock set to debut in the vicinity. He's been extremely busy. You'd think if the movie was so bad, people wouldn't have to make things up about it and its makers all the time.
