Not a chance. Militant anti-government mindsets are more found on Conservatives. Leftist sides more likely to leave/clutch their pearls while accepting their good-enough lifestyle.

I think people are thinking about it the wrong way. You would not have states fighting against each other. Instead it would be small cells fighting a constant guerilla war. That is much, much more likely.
What cells and why? From one side, sure. But for the civil war to look like this, you'd actually need the fed to break down and apart.
