| foolm0r0n 08/08/22 11:04:32 PM #13: | The cycle & Yu Yevon are what need to be defeated, but they aren't concious. Yunalesca is the only active conscious supporter of the cycle (and her cronies like Mika), so it's clear she's the ultimate villain. Not only of Tidus/Yuna's story, but Auron's, and every summoner. Defeating her was the climax of the party's mission (aka "our story") and killing Sin was the end. Then only Tidus' story to beat Jecht remained. Seymour actually wants to the end the cycle just as much as Tidus/Yuna, but using destruction instead. He was absolutely a loser who did not deserve to be the final boss.
